Donations

This holiday season, many of our brave Airmen from Dyess Air Force Base are far from home, defending our freedom. And we want them to know that everyone in the big country appreciates the sacrifices they make!

So, we’re asking for your help with Operation Christmas Care Package presented by AEL!

These packages provide comfort, support, and a taste of home to Airmen stationed right here at Dyess and those serving abroad, separated from their families.

Your donations are a powerful way to say, "thank you."

Suggested Donation Items

Food: Beef jerky, protein bars, coffee/tea packets, instant oatmeal, chewing gum, hard candy, powdered drink mixes

Hygiene: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, baby wipes, foot powder, lip balm

Entertainment: Playing cards, travel-size board games, paperback books, magazines, journals, pens

Miscellaneous: Small holiday decorations, handwritten letters or cards, hand warmers, socks, batteries

Letters

We want to make this Christmas holiday special for our Dyess Airmen who are serving far from their families. We believe the most important item in these packages isn't a snack, it's a personal message from home!

We are asking you to help with handwritten letters and cards showing your appreciation and encouragement for the Airmen stationed at Dyess and abroad.

Your words can truly make their holidays special!

Letter Guidelines

Be Encouraging: Focus on messages of thanks, encouragement, well-wishes for the holidays, and general information about their lives (e.g., favorite sports, hobbies, or pets).

Keep it General: Please do not include any personal information such as last names, home addresses, or phone numbers.

Keep it Positive: Avoid discussing sensitive topics, politics, or any negative news. The goal is to lift spirits!
